Vicky Boone Casting is a full-service casting company based in Austin, TX, specializing in principal casting for feature films, television, commercials, and podcasts.
Founded in 2004, we cut our teeth on indie features and have developed a reputation for collaborating with top auteur directors like Terrence Malick, Richard Linklater, Nia DaCosta, and Julie Andem. We have extensive experience in searches and are known for discovering breakthrough young talent.
Our team is well versed in the TV and streaming worlds as well; we’ve cast TV shows for networks such as HBO, Netflix, Apple+, Amazon, Adult Swim, and Facebook Watch in both lead and location casting capacities. We also run a thriving commercial casting business, with over 500 commercials for top agencies, production companies, and directors under our belt!

Vicky Boone, CSA
Casting Director
A native Texan, Vicky Boone has over twenty years experience working in casting. She is the casting director behind Hit Man, The Tree of Life, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, and Bull. Other film credits include the indie hits Family Movie, Oddities, Little Woods and the animated documentary Tower. For TV, her credits include Brothers, Love and Death, Mo, Panic, Special, and SKAM Austin.
Prior to her career in casting, Vicky worked for ten years as the Artistic Director of Austin’s ground-breaking Frontera @ Hyde Park Theatre, where she specialized in premiering new American plays. Vicky has an MFA in Directing from Boston University School for the Arts.
Vicky’s background in directing actors and working with writers makes her a strong communicator and quick to intuit a filmmaker’s vision. She creates a relaxed and nurturing casting space where actors and directors have fun and feel comfortable taking risks. A fan of innovation and unique voices, Vicky loves to collaborate with artists who create in bold new ways.
Vicky enjoys all things outdoors including native plants, people watching, urban hiking, and street art.
LIZ KELLEY, CSA
Casting Director
Liz has been with Vicky Boone Casting since 2016 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with her degree in Radio-Television-Film. She has worked with the VBC Team on countless features, TV shows, and commercials, with a focus in the narrative space. She shares casting director credit on features such as Family Movie, American Spirit, Marfa Lights, Oddities and more. Born and raised in Texas, Liz is excited to see more films and TV come to the South Central market!
Liz enjoys anything chocolate, a good joke, and her squished face pups, Benny and Dilly.
Chantél ITALIA, CSA
Casting Associate
Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, Chantél teamed up with VBC in 2018 after four years as a Casting Associate in Oklahoma where she assisted with films like Wildlife (dir. Paul Dano) and Andrea Arnold’s American Honey. Specializing in commercial casting, real people casting and background, Chantél shares the Casting Director credit on Annie Silverstein’s Bull.
Chantél adores British crime shows, her furry kids, Charlie, Sweet Dee and Boots McGillikitty, and pasta (especially lasagna!).

Casting Assistant
Lily joined VBC as an Assistant in 2024 after graduating from UT Austin with a B.S. in Radio/TV/Film. Lily has supported the team on multiple feature films, some notable projects being Marfa Lights, Oddities and Family Movie. She often helps out with commercial casting jobs as well. Lily especially loves helping run live audition sessions and doing script coverage for incoming narratives!
Lily likes trying new coffee shops, watching TV, and doing little arts and crafts projects.
